Am I glad this week is over! End of term is always torturous and hopeful at the same time, isn't it? Holidays are so close and yet, you have mounds of essays and exams blocking the view. Yeah, that was the gist of the week for me. I'll update you more on the weekly insert of [The Update]. But face-front, this week has mainly been about quick and simple.

Sleepless nights and stress throw a wonderful party for the blemishes popping up and they're clustered in different parts of my face like little cliques. Anyway, on the days that I do have to go out looking presentable, I immediately reach for the much loved Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. I've already raved about this foundation numerous times, and I just realized that I've yet to post a review on this gem. I think I'll do one soon. But in short, this full-coverage foundation has the ability to look incredibly natural and I love it. I've been having dark circles for a couple years now. Most days, they're not that terrible. And then there are days like I look I've been punched in the eye. The Bobbi Brown Corrector (review here) another much loved product has been poked and prodded at all week. It's also the miracle product that gives the illusion I didn't spend all night tossing and turning, trying to tweak the essay framework for the 500th time. I didn't get along with the L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara (review here) when I first got it, but now I'm used to the brush and the formula is less wet and I'm so in love. I've been reaching for this over all my others and I'm only hating that this doesn't come in a waterproof version. What am I supposed to do when it rains then? Last but not least, the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser has quickly earned itself a way into a permanent spot in my shower. It's able to take off what a wipe down of makeup remover wasn't able to and leave my soft feeling soft and gentle. I've yet to notice my complexion lighting up so I can't say as to the effects, but let's just say I'm interested in purchasing the other hot cloth cleanser with vitamins in it now.
